OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY AND SOME OF OUR STORES AND SERVICES

As a local Realtor in the West Hills, Woodland Hills and Calabasas areas , I think it is important to share information and support those who work hard everyday in our local community.

That  is why today I wanted to share some of those stores and services that many of us attend.

Creation Station West Hills

Founded by Jude Carmen, they are expanding and adding locations around the Southland and Country. Boys and Girls can both enjoy the various types of classes that they offer. All of the classes at Creation Station reflect a commitment to promoting high self esteem. They entertain as well as educate and most of all, allow every child to be just that – a child! Creation Station takes a developmental approach to teaching.

Kenshokan Martial Arts Academy- Woodland Hills

Sensei Gregory Poretz is the leader here at this martial arts studio. Children will enjoy many hours of confidence building activities, including tumbling, falling, and self-defense training. Smaller or more reserved children will have the advantage of working with more experienced students and instructors who constantly support and cheer them on in a non-competitive environment. Students also make remarkable gains in dexterity. Awkward and gangly kids are soon amazing their parents with their newfound abilities. Because Jujitsu requires one to yield rather then resist, a more aggressive child learns the value of patience and self-control. For all you wine lovers out there, go to the Woodland Hills Wine Company for a mass selection. They also have wine tasting events at their stores on weekends. Today they had an interesting story on their blog about whether people choose wines based on points that some wines have.
